Lachin and Zangezur Corridors Should Have the Same Status: Cavusoglu
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has spoken about the regulation of relations between Armenia and Turkey, as well as between Armenia and Azerbaijan. According to Turkish Milliyet, Cavusoglu stated that there are projects to be implemented within the framework of the trilateral agreement signed on November 9.
“Azerbaijan insists that the Lachin and Zangezur corridors should have the same status. Besides these, there are also other projects that need to be implemented. A decision has been made to establish a commission on delimitation. This should be put into action. Foreign ministers have been tasked with working on the peace agreement,” said Cavusoglu.
According to him, Turkey and Armenia have begun a process of regulating their relations, which is being coordinated with Azerbaijan. “The resolution of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations will contribute to the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations,” emphasized the Turkish Foreign Minister.
