David Tonoyan and Others Do Not Acknowledge Their Guilt
Today, a session was held at the Anti-Corruption Court concerning the case of rockets involving former Minister of Defense David Tonoyan and officials from the General Staff.
David Tonoyan's lawyer, Sergey Hovhannisyan, revealed some details of today's court session to 168.am. In particular, he conveyed that former Minister of Defense David Tonoyan once again expressed reasonable doubt regarding the impartiality of Anti-Corruption Court judge Vahe Dolmazyan.
“Moreover, the trial has finally commenced, and the charges have been published, in which David Tonoyan and others do not acknowledge their guilt. David Tonoyan stated that after one year and one month, no evidence has yet been obtained concerning the unreliability of the rockets,” noted Sergey Hovhannisyan.
When asked if they would demand an examination of the rockets, David Tonoyan's lawyer responded, “We will present such a motion during the examination of the evidence.”
