Çavuşoğlu Ready to Meet with Ararat Mirzoyan
Turkey's Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu has announced in a press conference in Istanbul that he is ready to meet his Armenian counterpart Ararat Mirzoyan, although no specific date for the negotiations has been set yet.
Earlier, Çavuşoğlu stated that during the meeting on October 6 in Prague, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agreed to hold talks on the normalization of relations between the two countries.
“As I have already stated, an agreement has been reached that from now on, these meetings will be held either in Turkey or Armenia,” emphasized the head of Turkish diplomacy, stressing that the Turkish side is always ready for such a meeting.
Çavuşoğlu reminded that a meeting between the two ministers took place during the Antalya Diplomatic Forum, and they do not see any problems in continuing these interactions in this format.
