Shooting at Russian Military Training Ground: Casualties Reported

A terrorist incident occurred in Belgorod yesterday, resulting in the deaths of 11 individuals and injuring another 15. This information has been reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the ministry, the attack took place at a military training ground of the Western Military District during a shooting training session with volunteers who expressed their willingness to participate in the special operation in Ukraine. Some Russian media outlets suggest that the volunteers were from the Bryansk region.

The Ministry of Defense stated that the attackers opened fire on the personnel of the unit with small arms. In return fire, both assailants were neutralized. It has been reported that they were citizens of a country from the CIS.

Law enforcement agencies are working at the scene of the attack. The Russian Ministry of Defense reports that 11 people sustained fatal injuries, while another 15 were transported to medical facilities with various degrees of bodily injuries, where they are receiving the necessary assistance.
