Russian Tourists Reside in the Office of Armenian Company Suspected in Crimean Bridge Explosion, According to RIA Novosti
According to the relative of Gurgen Shlepchyan, the sole shareholder of the Armenian company mentioned in the statement regarding the terrorism on the Crimean Bridge, tourists are currently living in one of the apartments in Alaverdi, Armenia, where the company is registered.
The reporter arrived in Alaverdi to visit the company’s office, located in a residential building. “This apartment is rented out to tourists,” said the source from the news agency. The residence of the company owner’s relative is in the same multi-story building. Neighbors also informed RIA Novosti that, apparently, Russian young men are living in the specified apartment.
It is worth recalling that on the morning of October 8, a cargo truck exploded on the Crimean Bridge, causing 8 fuel tanks of a train consignment to catch fire. The roadway of the bridge partially collapsed, resulting in three fatalities. The National Anti-Terrorism Committee indicated that the order and execution of the terrorism were carried out by Ukrainian intelligence services. The Russian FSB has established that the cargo truck, allegedly carrying explosives, traveled from Odessa to Bulgaria, then to Georgia, Armenia, and subsequently entered Russia through Georgian territory. The explosives were hidden among rolls of polyethylene wrap.
