Today, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the CIS is taking place in Astana, with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also in attendance. Earlier, the President of Russia had stated that the agenda for the Astana meeting includes important topics of integrative cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, and humanitarian issues.

According to Putin, security issues will also be discussed: “After all, besides Ukraine, where truly tragic events are occurring, unfortunately, conflicts sometimes arise between states in the post-Soviet space, and this, of course, necessitates the development of measures aimed at resolving them,” he said.
