Iran Affirmatively States Commitment to Deepening Relations with Armenia
The Foreign Minister of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, met in Tehran with the head of the Armenian-Iranian parliamentary friendship group, declaring that Iran is determined to deepen relations with Armenia.
According to Tasnim news agency, he referred to Iran's principled policy, which is to respect the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of all countries. The Iranian diplomat called for resolving disputes between Azerbaijan and Armenia through peaceful means.
Amir-Abdollahian stated that Tehran opposes any changes to international borders or geopolitical changes in the region.
