Since September 14, the relatives of the missing conscript Vahe Torosyan have blocked the road leading to the village of Lusakugh in Armavir Province.

On October 10, they had already organized a protest near the Ministry of Defense. The relatives state that Vahe Torosyan last contacted on September 14, clearly describing to his friend where he was, but the Armenian authorities are doing nothing to extract their son from there, claiming that the area is under Azerbaijani control.

“Since September 16, the Azerbaijani side has not allowed entry to their controlled area above the village of Hand in Syunik. The child called on September 15, explaining to his friend in which gorge he is located. But our side is taking no steps. Only the command staff of the military unit is working. Our people want to enter the area, but Azerbaijan does not allow it,” said one of the relatives.
