US Declares It Does Not Want to Engage in Conflict with Russia
The United States does not seek conflict with Russia, and the country’s authorities do not plan to send troops to Ukraine. This statement was made by John Kirby, the Coordinator for Strategic Communications at the National Security Council, during a press briefing.
"We are not looking for conflict with Russia. President Biden has been very clear on this issue. He also stated that American troops will not be fighting in Ukraine. No one wants this war to escalate into a nuclear war," he said during the briefing.
The White House spokesperson also emphasized that at this moment, Washington does not see signs that Moscow is preparing to use any type of weapons of mass destruction.
