According to News.am, the protestors were informed that the president is not in the city. “As the President of the National Assembly, I am ready to answer you,” Tovmasyan said, but the gathered crowd insisted they would not leave until they saw Arayik Harutyunyan.
It is noted that a large number of police are present near the presidential residence, and the number of citizens exceeds several hundred.
MediaHub reports that Harutyunyan's spokesperson, Lusine Avanesyan, did not provide a clear answer to whether the president would come down to the protesters. “We will keep you informed about developments,” was Avanesyan's response.
It is pointed out that the citizens have given Harutyunyan half an hour to come out to them, which has already elapsed.
