Shoigu and Hulusi Akar Have Had a Phone Conversation: What Was Discussed

The Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Sergey Shoigu, and the Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Hulusi Akar, have had a phone conversation.

As reported by Russian media, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that Shoigu discussed bilateral relations, regional security, Ukraine, Syria, and the implementation of trade agreements with his Turkish counterpart.

The Turkish side confirmed its willingness to provide comprehensive support for the diplomatic resolution of the situation in Ukraine.

The importance of cooperation to prevent terrorist threats in Syria was highlighted, along with the readiness to fulfill all agreements reached on this issue.
