Russian Military Machine is Combat Ready and Has Large Reserves, Says British Intelligence Chief

Russia's supplies and ammunition are being depleted. This was stated to the BBC by Jeremy Fleming, head of the British electronic intelligence agency.

“We know, and the Russian military leaders on the ground know, that their supplies and ammunition are running low,” said Sir Jeremy during his address at the annual security lecture of the Royal United Services Institute.

He also asserted that the mobilization of prisoners and inexperienced people “speaks of a desperate situation.”

Despite this, Fleming noted that Russia can still inflict damage on Ukraine. “Moscow has a highly capable military machine, despite the intense nature of the fighting in Ukraine,” he said. According to him, the Russian military can deploy weapons, possesses large reserves and experience.
