Armenia's Ministry of Defense Investigates New Footage of Torture of Armenian Prisoners of War

The Ministry of Defense is examining the newly circulated video footage regarding the torture of Armenian prisoners of war. This information was confirmed to Factinfo by the ministry's spokesperson, Aram Torosyan.

Earlier, Auroranews.am reported that new footage had been released depicting war crimes committed against Armenian soldiers by the enemy. Torosyan remarked, “This is yet again one of the unpunished war crimes, which the Azerbaijanis themselves take pride in and disseminate.” The footage shows three Armenian servicemen, one of whom is most likely deceased, while the other two are wounded. The fate of these soldiers remains unknown.”

Auroranews.am has not obscured the faces of the soldiers appearing in the video to facilitate the process of identifying them.
