We Must Wait for the Defense Ministry's Comments and Direct Questions to the Ministry Itself, Says Peskov

The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, stated in a conversation with journalists that strikes are being carried out in Ukraine as part of a special operation. This was reported by Russian media outlets.

“All of this is happening within the framework of a military special operation, and regarding these strikes, of course, we must wait for the Defense Ministry's comments and direct questions to the Ministry itself,” Peskov said to reporters.

It is noteworthy that Ukrainian media reported explosions occurring in Kyiv and the Kyiv region, as well as missile strikes in Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Lviv, and the Lviv region, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Konotop, Rivne, and Poltava regions.
