Casillas Deletes Controversial Post

Íker Casillas has deleted his tweet in which he claimed to be gay. The Spanish publication AS explains that Casillas seemingly made this post as a 'joke' to refute circulating rumors about his alleged intimate relationships with various Spanish dancers and actresses.

"He wants the media to stop spreading false news that connects him with new women every week," AS added.

It is worth noting that just earlier, the 'Real' legend Íker Casillas made an unexpected confession on his Twitter microblog, writing: 'I am gay. Please respect me.'

In the comments of Casillas's shocking post, former Barcelona defender Carles Puyol wrote: 'The time has come for us to tell our story, Íker.'

Recall that in 2009, Casillas began dating presenter Sara Carbonero. They got married on March 20, 2016, and the couple has two sons. However, on March 12, 2021, they announced their separation after 12 years together.
