The fire that broke out on the railway train carrying fuel on the Crimean Bridge has been extinguished, and there is currently no open burning, reported the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry to RIA Novosti.

"The fire on the fuel railway train on the Crimean Bridge has been extinguished, and there is currently no open burning. The extinguishing efforts involve 250 people and 70 units of equipment," said the source.

We remind that earlier today, the National Anti-Terrorism Committee reported that a truck exploded on the Crimean Bridge early in the morning, which resulted in a fire breaking out in seven fuel tanks of the train. Partial collapse occurred in two vehicular openings of the bridge.

The arch of the land section of the bridge was not damaged. According to preliminary data from regional authorities, there are no casualties or injuries from the incident.
