VIDEO: Truck Explodes on Crimean Bridge - Details Emerge

A truck has exploded on the Crimean Bridge, as reported by the National Anti-Terrorism Committee to RIA Novosti.

"At 06:07 today, a truck carrying seven fuel tanks exploded on the automobile section of the Crimea Bridge while traveling from the Taman Peninsula toward the Crimean peninsula," the statement said.

According to the source, two spans of the bridge have partially collapsed. However, the arch above the land section of the bridge remains intact.

As previously reported by the Crimean authorities, there are no casualties or injuries. Regional Parliament chairman Vladimir Konstantinov stated that the damage is not severe and the consequences of the emergency will be resolved promptly.
