VIDEO: Law Enforcement Inspected Truck Minutes Before Explosion, New Details Emerged
Footage has surfaced online showing the truck that exploded on the Crimean Bridge passing through a traffic police checkpoint. The officers examined the vehicle's trailer but did not notice anything suspicious. Reports indicate that just minutes later, according to camera footage, the truck exploded on the bridge.
The Telegram channel Mash also published a photo of the truck's driver. This is Boris Yusupov from Krasnodar, under whose name the red truck is registered. According to family members, he sold the vehicle, but the new owner has not registered it in their name.
The driver, according to the traffic officers he interacted with, remained calm, raised no suspicion, and presented all the documents.
It should be reminded that earlier today the National Anti-Terrorism Committee announced that a truck exploded on the Crimean Bridge early in the morning, causing a fire in seven fuel tanks of a train. Partial collapse occurred at two automotive openings of the bridge. The arch of the land section of the bridge was not damaged. Preliminary information from regional authorities indicates there are no casualties or injuries from the incident.
