One of the Friends Went Hunting and Accidentally Shot His Companion in the Abdomen

On October 7, at 07:50, the police received a report from the hospital that a 45-year-old man from Artashat had been admitted with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The police press service states that around 07:30, the 45-year-old man was hunting in the administrative area of the village of Taperakan with two friends, using a Nissan vehicle belonging to one of them. During this time, one of the friends accidentally discharged a single-barrel 12-gauge rifle, registered in his name, while loading it, hitting the 45-year-old man who was seated in the back of the vehicle and causing injury.

The circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and a criminal investigation has been initiated.
