The Head of the Inspection Body Arrived 40 Minutes Late to the Meeting, Minister Did Not Even Recognize Him

The "Zhoghovurd" daily reports that on October 5, the head of the Inspection Body for Urban Development, Technical and Fire Safety, was to be presented by the Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan.

According to information from the "Zhoghovurd" daily, the council chairman-minister did not even know who the new head would be after starting the meeting. Notably, after a long wait, the members present at the council meeting attempted to find out from the government staff who the candidate was, to call him in.

Only after the staff provided the information was it revealed that the candidate was Garegin Khachatryan, head of the real estate management department of the Yerevan municipality, who arrived 40 minutes after the meeting began because he himself was unaware that he needed to attend.

"Zhoghovurd" daily attempted to get a comment from the spokesperson for the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Hayk Kostanyan, regarding this embarrassing incident. He stated, "I was informed that, according to the scheduled time, the meeting took place, and the head of the inspection body also participated in the council meeting."
