Russian Authorities Preparing Citizens for Nuclear Weapon Use, Says Zelensky

Russian authorities have begun preparing their citizens for the potential use of nuclear weapons, said Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the BBC.

Regarding the statement about 'preventive strikes' against Russia, Zelensky clarified that by 'preventive strikes' he referred to new Western sanctions aimed at preventing a nuclear war.

Earlier, President Zelensky called on NATO to carry out 'preventive strikes' to eliminate the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons. This was mentioned during a video call with the Lowy Institute in Australia.
