Over 1.2 Million Tourists Visited Armenia in the Last 9 Months, Kerobyan

During the first nine months of 2022, the number of tourists visiting Armenia reached 1.24 million, with 198,074 tourists recorded in September alone. This information was shared on Facebook by the Minister of Economy, Vahan Kerobyan.

According to the data released by the Minister, this figure was significantly higher than the 619,000 visitors recorded during the same period in 2021 (870,000 tourists visited Armenia last year).

In September 2021, the number of tourists was 124,522. Of the tourists that visited Armenia in 2022, 49% were from Russia (compared to 39% in 2021), 8% came from Georgia, 7% from Iran, 4% from the United States, and another 2% from Germany.
