EU Observation Mission Proposal at Armenia-Azerbaijan Border is Being Implemented: Lithuanian Foreign Ministry

The idea of establishing an EU observation mission at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is being implemented. This was announced by the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry on Twitter.

"The idea of establishing an EU observation mission at the Armenia-Azerbaijan border is being implemented. This was first raised by the foreign ministers of Austria, Lithuania, and Romania during their visit to the South Caucasus last June. If everything goes well, this will be an important step towards sustaining peace in the region," the statement reads.
