Bodies of Azerbaijani Soldiers Not Handed Over to Azerbaijan

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia has addressed the actions of the Azerbaijani side regarding the video of the murder of Armenian captives. "In an attempt to find some explanation for the horrific video that has spread throughout the world, in which Azerbaijani soldiers execute unarmed Armenian soldiers, Azerbaijan today disseminated an absurd claim through its Prosecutor General's Office, stating that 'the bodies of six Azerbaijani soldiers have been handed over to the Azerbaijani side, who were tortured by the Armenian soldiers depicted in the aforementioned video.' Instead of accepting the condemnations and calls for an investigation that have come from almost the entire civilized world, official Baku is trying to find justifications for the monstrous atrocities committed by its soldiers.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia declares that the bodies of Azerbaijani soldiers have not been handed over to the Azerbaijani side, and the message disseminated by Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General's Office is intended to cover up the war crimes committed by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces."
