The Murder of Journalist Daria Dugina Involves Representatives of the Ukrainian Government: NYT

The New York Times, citing anonymous sources from U.S. intelligence agencies, reports that according to U.S. intelligence data, the car explosion involving Daria Dugina, daughter of the Kremlin-affiliated ideologue Alexander Dugin, was authorized by representatives of the Ukrainian government.

The NYT publication notes that the United States did not contribute to the execution of this plan in any way, providing neither intelligence information nor any other assistance.

According to the authors, Washington is insisting that it had no prior knowledge of the operation and would have been vehemently opposed had they been aware.

Recall that on August 20, a Land Cruiser belonging to Russian public figure Alexander Dugin was blown up on Moscow's Mozhayskoye Highway while being driven by his 30-year-old daughter, Daria Dugina. She died on the spot.
