Pentagon Allows Ukraine to Strike Crimea with HIMARS System

Pentagon spokesperson Laura Cooper has announced that Ukraine is permitted to carry out strikes across larger sections of the battlefield using the HIMARS system. She noted that this also applies to the territory of Crimea, which, according to the official, belongs to Ukraine.

Cooper stated that the U.S. will soon send an additional batch of HIMARS systems to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package to the country.
