Landmine Explosion in Gegharkunik: Investigative Committee Reports

On October 2, a landmine exploded in the Gegharkunik region. According to reports, a 31-year-old man from the town of Chambarak was injured after accidentally stepping on the mine around 6 PM, which led to the explosion.

The Investigative Committee informed Auroranews.am that a criminal case has been launched regarding the incident. As for the injured man, it was noted that he did not sustain any injuries, and it was merely an explosion.

When asked about the exact location of the explosion, it was confirmed that it occurred in Gegharkunik.
