US and Allies Should Destroy Russian Forces in Ukraine, Says Former CIA Director

The US and its allies should eliminate Russian troops and equipment in Ukraine, as well as sink the Russian Black Sea fleet if President Vladimir Putin uses nuclear weapons in the country, warned former CIA Director and retired General David Petraeus.

According to The Guardian, in an interview with ABC News, the former head of the CIA stated, "Hypothetically speaking, we would respond by leading NATO with collective efforts to eliminate all conventional Russian forces that we can see and identify on the battlefield in Ukraine, as well as in Crimea and the Black Sea waters."

Petraeus noted that Putin is facing defeat despite making significant yet desperate moves in the war.
