Iran’s Foreign Ministry: No Drones Transferred to Russia

The official representative of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanani, today denied reports regarding the transfer of drones to Russia for use in the conflict with Ukraine. His statement was quoted by RIA Novosti.

"Iran considers the published reports about the supply of drones to Russia for use in the war with Ukraine to be unfounded and does not confirm them," said Kanani, whose comments were published on the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Telegram channel.

Kanani emphasized that Iran maintains a political approach based on neutrality. According to him, Tehran adheres to the view that disagreements between Russia and Ukraine must be resolved through political means.

On September 30, Putin signed agreements on including the DPR, LPR, and the regions of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson within the Russian Federation.

Military operations in Ukraine have been ongoing for 221 days.
