"Washington Will Continue to Recognize Ukraine's Borders as They Were" - Biden

Washington will continue to recognize Ukraine within its former borders and will not acknowledge the results of referendums held in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, as well as in the DNR and LNR. U.S. President Joe Biden responded to Russia's signing of agreements to annex new territories, as reported by TASS.

The U.S. president also stated that his country will continue to encourage the international community to reject the recognition of the results of the referendums concerning the accession of several Ukrainian territories into Russia.

It should be noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed agreements to include the Donetsk People's Republic, Luhansk People's Republic, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions into the Russian Federation.
