US Imposes Sanctions on Companies from Armenia, China, and Belarus
The United States has imposed sanctions on companies from China, Belarus, and Armenia for supporting Russia. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
According to a statement released on the US Department of the Treasury's website, the sanctions target electronic manufacturing companies, as well as one company from Belarus involved in the oil and chemical sector.
Also included in the US sanctions list are Central Bank head Elvira Nabiullina, members of the Federation Council, and relatives of Russian officials. The new restrictions affect 14 representatives of Russia's defense industry and 278 lawmakers.
Washington imposed the new sanctions on Moscow following Russian President Vladimir Putin's signing of agreements for the inclusion of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions into the Russian Federation.
