Peskov on Negotiations with Ukraine
The Ukrainian side has repeatedly stated publicly its desire to engage in negotiations with the Russian Federation. In such circumstances, Moscow emphasizes the continuation of the special military operation, insisting that Russia's demands remain unchanged, said Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“The Ukrainian side has completely moved away from the negotiation track. Our demands remain unchanged. The objectives of the special military operation do not change. Therefore, naturally, in conditions where the Ukrainian side has publicly stated multiple times that it does not want to engage in any negotiations, the emphasis is placed on the continuation of the special military operation,” Peskov stated during a meeting with journalists on Friday.
