Pashinyan on Purchasing Military Equipment from India

The topic of purchasing weapons and military equipment is not one I would like to discuss publicly, but I must say that the reports which have appeared in the Indian media have not been denied by the Republic of Armenia; I cannot say anything further at this moment.

This was stated today by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a broadcast on H1 while discussing reports regarding the acquisition of weapons from India. Pashinyan added that the public should know that active steps are being taken to expand cooperation in the defense technology sector.

“We are making very active and intensive efforts in this direction. It is not an easy task,” he emphasized.
