36-Year-Old Man Steals from Paris Herouni Observatory

A 36-year-old man from the village of Byurakan was arrested and transferred to the police station in the village of Orgavan in the Aragatsotn Province.

This information has been reported by the press service of the Armenian police.

Hidden beneath the back seat of a "Zhiguli" car were night lighting devices. In connection with this, the arrested individual stated that he deceitfully entered the territory of the Paris Herouni Observatory under the pretext of being a technical employee and committed theft.

The 36-year-old resident of Byurakan has been presented to the Aragatsotn Regional Investigation Department, where a criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. The circumstances are still being clarified.
