Finalization of the Recount of Local Election Results Reported by the CEC
On September 28, 2022, the territorial electoral commissions completed their work on the recount of the voting results from the local self-governing bodies elections held on September 25. This was reported by the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).
According to the submitted applications and the new regulation of Article 50, part 1.1 of the Electoral Code, a total of 53 polling station results have been recounted.
The recount included the following polling stations: number 17/2, 17/7 of the Tsaghkadzor community; number 17/20 of the Alagyaz community; number 18/22, 18/23, 18/27 of the Talin community; number 20/6, 20/14, 20/19 of the Chambarak community; number 22/3 of the Gyulagarak community; number 24/8, 24/21, 24/41 of the Alaverdi community; number 25/7 of the Lori Berd community; number 25/12, 25/31 of the Tashir community; number 27/1, 27/2, 27/3, 27/4, 27/5, 27/9, 27/10, 27/12, 27/14, 27/15, 27/18, 27/19 of the Charentsavan community; number 28/4 of the Akunk community; number 28/12, 28/14 of the Burergevank community; number 29/1, 29/4 of the Jrvaj community; number 33/13, 33/18, 33/19 of the Ani community; number 34/6, 34/14, 34/16, 34/22, 34/23, 34/29 of the Sisian community; number 35/5 of the Kajaran community; number 36/7 of the Areni community; number 36/12, 36/21 of the Yeghigis community; number 38/4, 38/5, 38/7, 38/8, 38/9, 38/16, 38/21 of the Berd community.
No significant changes in the voting results were recorded as a result of the recount.
