DPR, LPR, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson Vote in Favor of Joining Russia
The voting results from the referendums in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, as well as in the Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, regarding joining Russia have been revealed. This was reported by Kp.ru.
The participation in the referendums exceeded even the most optimistic predictions: the participation rate in the LPR was 92.6%, in the DPR it was 97.51%, in Zaporizhzhia region it was 85.4%, and in Kherson region it was 76.86%.
All regions have recognized the results of the referendums as valid. As noted by Vasily Nebenzya, Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN, the referendums in the LPR, DPR, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia were conducted with “full transparency and in accordance with all international norms.”
