The U.S. government is prepared to provide military assistance to Armenia, but we cannot provide Armenia with weapons that will end up in Russia's hands. This was stated by U.S. Congresswoman Jackie Speier, who has Armenian roots.

“Therefore, in some ways, our hands are tied. I hope that Armenia will also go down the path of Ukraine and 'respond to Russia'. I would not want the country to revert to the times of the Soviet Union,” she said.
