The controversial romance between a Ukrainian refugee and a Brit has come to an end in the UK, drawing significant attention.

The relationship, which came to light in May of this year, involved 22-year-old Sofia Karkadim, who had sheltered with a family in West Yorkshire and disrupted a married couple's life to quickly become Anthony's new partner.

However, their happiness was short-lived. The man announced their breakup, citing the Ukrainian's excessive aggression as the reason.

“On Saturday night, she took a knife and struck the wall several times. That terrified me,” Anthony recounted in an interview with reporters. The Brit decided that he could no longer accept such “behaviors” from the girl and ended the relationship.
