Pashinyan Sends Condolences to Putin
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a condolence telegram to the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin, regarding the loss of life due to the recent incident in Izhevsk.
“Dear Vladimir Vladimirovich, with great sorrow, I learned about the tragic incident that took place in one of the schools in the city of Izhevsk. On behalf of the people of Armenia and personally, I would like to express my sincere words of sympathy and support to all those who have lost their loved ones, and I wish a swift recovery to all the injured,” says the telegram.
It is noteworthy that earlier this morning, an armed man entered School No. 88 in the capital of Udmurtia, part of Russia, and opened fire indiscriminately. The shooting resulted in the deaths of 15 individuals, including nine children, and another 23 people, including 20 children, were injured. The man later took his own life. He had been registered at a psychiatric dispensary.
