VIDEO: Consequences of Azerbaijani Aggression. Government Provides Details

During the night of September 12 to 13, as a result of Azerbaijan's large-scale aggression, 7,600 people have been forced to leave their homes, and civilian infrastructure has been targeted. The regions of Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik have been affected. Efforts continue in the damaged areas, and the total extent of the damage has not yet been fully assessed.

The government reports that the destruction is particularly significant in the Gegharkunik region. Here, 195 buildings have been damaged, including residential houses, schools, medical points, electrical wiring, and gas pipelines. Wheat and barley crops have been set on fire. In Sotk alone, 60 houses were destroyed, and 117 sustained partial damage. Other affected areas in the Gegharkunik region include Verin Shorja, Nerkhin Shorja, Kut, Ayryk, and Lusakunk.

In the Vayots Dzor community of Jermuk, 9 buildings have been damaged, including 2 residential houses, 3 guesthouses, a health resort, an administrative building, electrical wires, and gas pipelines. Preliminary calculations indicate that 10 hectares of forested area have burned.

In Syunik, 19 buildings were damaged. The communities of Akner, Verishen, Karashen, Vaghatur, Kapan, Noravan, and Aghitu have also suffered damage. Specifically, 3 homes, 1 event hall, 3 roofs, 2 ambulances, and a road have been affected.
