Bairamov: 'We Have Offered Armenia a Venue and Time for the Meeting'

During a speech at the 77th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov announced that after the recent meeting in Brussels, Azerbaijan is willing to work on a peace agreement and has suggested a venue and time to Armenia shortly after the meeting for project-related discussions.

“Two days ago, the Prime Minister of Armenia spoke at the 77th UN General Assembly. Unfortunately, his speech demonstrated that Armenia is still committed to continuing confrontation rather than resolving relations,” stated Bayramov, as reported by Trend.

Speaking about delimitation and demarcation, the Azerbaijani official noted, “Azerbaijan has made efforts to initiate this process, opening transportation and communication links, including the establishment of the Zangezur corridor, which is an integral part of the international transportation network.”
