Yerevan city council member Ani Khachatryan, in a press briefing with a journalist, addressed the upcoming mayoral election and the candidates running for the position, stating that they will compete against everyone. She did not mention their candidate's name.

Discussing the potential nomination of former mayor Hayk Marutyan, Khachatryan said: "I believe he will find it smart; from the sales of his presentation tickets, he will understand that his place is on the theater stage," noted the council member.
