VIDEO: Soldiers Trapped for 9 Days Successfully Rescued from Blockade - Ministry of Defense of Armenia

Captain Artem Gevorgyan and Junior Sergeant Arman Pilosyan, who had been trapped for 9 days, have been successfully rescued from the blockade. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense, Aram Torosyan.

Earlier, a video was circulated in the media titled 'Soldiers Trapped in Blockade Welcomed in Jermuk.'

It is noteworthy that since September 13, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces had been conducting intensive shelling with artillery and heavy caliber firearms in the directions of Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk. The adversary was also using UAVs.

During a government meeting on September 16, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reported that the confirmed number of casualties on the Armenian side stands at 135.

As of 20:00 on September 14, a ceasefire regime was established along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, which has been maintained up to this point.

According to a statement from the Security Council of Armenia, the number of those killed and missing due to the large-scale aggression of the Azerbaijani armed forces has reached 207, including 3 civilians who were killed, and the whereabouts of 2 civilians remain unknown. Furthermore, 293 soldiers were injured, 7 civilians were wounded, and 20 soldiers were captured.
