Pashinyan and UN Secretary-General Meet

Prime Minister Pashinyan met with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

During the meeting, Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of a prompt response from the international community regarding the immediate withdrawal of Azerbaijani units from the sovereign territory of Armenia. He highlighted the need for consistent and ongoing attention to prevent new acts of aggression from Azerbaijan.

The Prime Minister also addressed the gross violations of international humanitarian law by Azerbaijan and the targeting of civilian populations and infrastructure.

Antonio Guterres expressed his concerns regarding the ongoing tension along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border and emphasized the importance of resolving regional issues through peaceful negotiations.
