Azerbaijanis Torture Both Living Individuals and Corpses: We Will Appeal to the ECHR, Says Siranush Sahakyan

Approximately 20 individuals are currently in captivity, with reports of missing persons also emerging, and it cannot be ruled out that they have been taken hostage. Final data will be available after the transfer and identification of the bodies. This was stated by Siranush Sahakyan, the representative of Armenian captives at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), during a broadcast on 24TV.

Sahakyan noted that often, not only living individuals but also corpses are tortured and are not returned to prevent the exposure of the crimes committed.

Azerbaijanis continue to cut off soldiers' ears and behead them, just as they did in 2016 and after September 13, 2022.

Regarding the released videos, the human rights advocate mentioned that Azerbaijanis often intentionally publish old videos to create confusion and diminish the evidentiary significance of such videos for the Armenian side in legal processes.
