One Civilian Injured by Azerbaijani Aggression Has Died
One of the civilians who was hospitalized due to injuries sustained from Azerbaijani aggression has died, according to the Ministry of Health of Armenia.
This information was provided by the Ministry of Health. The health condition of two others is assessed as moderate. It is noted that seven civilians were injured due to the shelling by Azerbaijani armed forces targeting Armenian positions and settlements.
On September 21, Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan reported that the condition of one of the injured civilians remains serious. She stated that most of the soldiers and civilians wounded in the conflict have been discharged from hospitals, and there is a positive dynamic in the health conditions of those receiving treatment in various healthcare institutions.
It is reminded that since September 13, units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces have been intensively firing artillery and large-caliber firearms in the direction of Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk, also employing drones in their attacks.
On September 16, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan informed during a government session that the confirmed number of casualties on the Armenian side stands at 135. A ceasefire regime was established along the Armenian-Azerbaijani border from 20:00 on September 14, which has been maintained up to this point.
According to a statement from the National Security Council of Armenia, the death toll and missing persons resulting from Azerbaijan’s large-scale aggression have reached 207, comprising three civilian deaths, two civilians whose whereabouts are considered unknown, 293 military personnel injured, seven civilians injured, and 20 soldiers taken captive.
