Shoigu Publishes Number of Ukrainian Casualties and Injured

The number of casualties and injuries on the Ukrainian side stands at around 100,000. This was announced today by the Russian Minister of Defense, Sergey Shoigu, during a broadcast on the 'Russia 24' television channel.

'At the initial stage, the Ukrainian armed forces consisted of about 201,000 to 202,000 personnel, and during this period their losses have exceeded 100,000. Of these, 61,207 have been killed and 49,368 injured. Almost half of their army has been lost,' Shoigu stated.
