Edmon Returned Home 15 Days Before Combat Operations to Attend His Elder Sister's Wedding

19-year-old serviceman Edmon Samveli Sargsyan was killed on September 13 during the clashes in Jermuk, following the provocation unleashed by Azerbaijan.

He had returned home 15 days before the combat operations to attend his elder sister's wedding, which turned out to be his last meeting with family members.

Edmon was the only son in the family. In an interview with Auroranews, Edmon’s friend Lusine recalls with sorrow their last meeting and conversation. Edmon Sargsyan was from Yerevan, specifically from the Victory neighborhood. He served honorably in the Armenian Armed Forces and had 5 months left until the end of his service.
