Armenia has allowed large-scale military provocations in recent months, leading to losses - Bayramov
Azerbaijan is determined to advance the peace agenda despite the destructive activities of the Armenian side. This was stated by Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov while speaking at the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
In his speech, the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister discussed efforts to eliminate the consequences of the previous conflict with Armenia in the post-conflict period. According to him, work is being done on the opening of communications and transport lines within the framework of trilateral statements and agreements reached between the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan. Additionally, Azerbaijan has presented a proposal for a peace agreement.
However, Bayramov noted that Armenia has obstructed the process, seriously violated its obligations regarding the trilateral statements, and in recent months has allowed large-scale military provocations that have led to losses.
He stated that despite the destructive activities of the Armenian side, Baku is determined to advance the peace agenda and continues negotiations in this direction.
It is worth recalling that since September 13 at 00:05, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces units began intensive fire towards Armenian positions in the directions of Goris, Sotk, and Jermuk using artillery and large-caliber firearms.
