Spontaneous Rally in Front of the National Assembly Didn't Sit Well with Opposition – 'Hraparak'
The newspaper 'Hraparak' reports that last week, parliamentary members from Artsakh who visited Armenia met with opposition members of the National Assembly on Friday. The opposition politicians admitted that the spontaneous rally in front of the National Assembly following Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's famous speech was not to their liking either.
Their participation as moderators in the rally was not due to their own choice, as they realize that, in a wartime situation, there is a risk of losing statehood. The opposition members only attended the rally after the public demanded a motion of no confidence in the Prime Minister.
They expressed candidly that the crowd gathered was not their traditional rally 'mass'; it significantly differed from their usual 'people'.
